'Matrichhaya' Shishu Kalyan Kendra, Bhopal


'Matrichhaya' is a journey full of hopes and aspiration. 'Matrichhaya' Shishu Kalyan Kendra was started by Sewa Bharti on 27 July 1997 at Bhopal. Childrens from 0 to 6 years of age, who are abandoned from the family and society due to any reason, are nurtured in the 'Matrichhaya' with the spirit of motherhood. Couples who are childless should have child happiness And the orphans should also find the loving parental affection, this is the main objective of Matrichhaya.

After the completion of the legal process, Childrens enters in the premises of 'maatrichhaya'' which is located in Swami Ramathirtha Nagar, Bhopal. . With completing all the guidelines of the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, and necessary legal procedures (eg medical examination, information at the local police station, the abonded childs are started to nourish In Matrichhaya.

From 1997 to 2020, the service journey of 'Matrichhaya' has lighten a new social life to hundreds of newborns. Here abandoned, newborn, orphan babies are nurtured by Indian culture and  adopted by such families where couples are childless with a legal process under CARA.  Since inception of matruchhaya, a total of 608 children have came here, out of which 260 were boys and 348 girl child . Of these, 335 children were adopted by qualified parents.

Cultural events and social harmony

Cultural programs such as Rakshabandhan and Karna piercing of girls, naming of children, Bhajan Kirtan, Sri Krishna Janmashtami and Holi Milan celebrations are organized from time to time in Matruchhaya. Due to organising social functions,social harmony is established. Many families share their happy moments with these childs by celebrating their birthdays.


'Matruchaya' management

Babies are nurtured by the dutiful 'Sewa Saints' of 'Matruchaya' Bhopal. About 20 workers of the Steering and Management Committee provide divine services for newborns. Apart from this, proper management of doctors, nurses and essential services has been made for these child infants. This 'Matruchhaya' project of 'Sewa Bharti' costs an average of Rs 1.5 to 2 lakhs per month for these Bal-Gopals.

At present, 15 babies are being nurtured in 'Matruchhaya' Bhopal. These childs receive the kind of attention and love as mother Yashoda. These newborns are brought up in the cultured Mamatamaya atmosphere of 10 mothers. Newborns, who are left away from their parents in any circumstance, are required to handle, feed, basic education, and do this work in the spirit of motherhood. These tasks are not easy, but there are gentle powers to fulfill them, they are doing their work for purify their heart's conscience.

Full of devoted motherhood and affection, 'Sewa Saints' are discharging their responsibilities in creating a harmonious and humane society . With 'Matruchaya', hundreds of families have adopted childs and saved the disintegration of their home, making the environment of society perfect. The service of connecting emotional ties between the deprived and affluent society is done by 'Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat'. This sense of belongingness and harmony is the core of Indian culture.
