Sewa Bharti was founded in the year 1989. Organization had resolved to work for welfare of the economically weaker sections of the society.
Sewa Bharti has been working in the field of health and education for the last 25 years for the sacred purposes of sewa, Sanskar and Social harmony. In the same sequence, the project of 'Matruchhaya Shishu Kalyan Kendra' by Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat it was started on 27 May 2015 in Hamlapur, Betul.
The Inauguration program of this social project of Sewa Bharti was conducted under the hospitality of Senior Public Welfare Commission President Vishwas Gopal Dharmadhikari, Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat President Gopal Krishna Godani, Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat Organization Minister Ramendra Singh and the chairman of Matruchaya Shishu Kalyan Kendra Betul Mukesh Khandelwal.
Matruchaya Shishu Kalyan Kendra, Betul is a pure service project of Sewa Bharti. Here, the destitute, orphaned and abandoned children from 0 to 6 years are cherished and protected with Indian Culture. The child is admitted to the 'Matruchhaya' after completing the guidelines of the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, and necessary legal procedures (eg medical examination, information at the local police station).
From the beginning of Matruchaya 'Betul till 25 January 2021, 34 children who have been nurtured here have been adopted by many families. Out of which the number of adopted children in the country is 20. Foreign couples have also adopted 03 children from Matruchaya Betul, and the number of children residing to biological parents is 11.
Through this project of Sewa Bharti, the sense of compassion towards the destitute, orphaned and abandoned children has increased. Matruchhaya, Baitul is Filling The Light Of Hope in children who has been left in the darkness.
